Privacy policy

Draft — not yet reviewed · Last updated September 2026

EveryBid collects the minimum personal information needed to run the service: your email address, name, password (stored hashed), the capability profile you build, the bids you save and rate, and basic usage logs. We are subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, provincial private-sector privacy law.

What we collect and why

  • Account details — to sign you in and send transactional email.
  • Capability profile — to rank bids for you (Radar) and send your email brief.
  • Saved bids, votes and stages — to run your pursuit board and improve your matches.
  • Billing — handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
  • Server logs and cookies — for security, session management and aggregate analytics.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with processors that run the service (hosting, email delivery, payments) under contract, or when required by law.

Retention and your rights

You can view and correct your information from your account page, and delete your account at any time. You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting us from the support page. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
